HISTORY OF THE COMPANY

Established in 1967 in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Our family owned business began it's existence with three employees. Through a steady growth over the years, the company expanded it's business in Mercer County area by opening a branch office in Hermitage, Pennsylvania. This office has since been relocated to 1010 East State Street, Sharon Pennsylvania. In the fall of 1992, the company opened a retail outlet for the sale of plumbing, heating and air conditioning parts. This facility is located at 914 Moravia Street, New Castle, Pennsylvania. In In July of 2001, the company opened the doors to its third location in Grove City, PA located at 804 West Main Street. Today the company has a total of 86 employees and over 50 service vehicles to handle all of our customer needs.

In August of 1992, Lennox Industries developed a dealer standards evaluation. Central Heating and Plumbing received a D-5 ranking and has maintained this ranking throughout the current year. A D-5 is the highest ranking that a Lennox dealer can achieve. The company has consistently received The Circle of Excellence award from Lennox Industries for the last several years. This award recognizes the company as being in the top 1% of all Lennox dealers in the Northeast region of the United States. Only 58 of more than 5,000 independent Lennox dealers become part of this coveted Circle of Excellence.
